In 1987, the late Peter Dobreiner, The Observer's golf correspondent, and I walked over the farmland that is now our golf course. He convinced me this corner of ‘Capability' Brown's Great Park could be transformed into an outstanding championship course. We believe it is - come and play. I hope you will agree.

In 1998 we added a superb banqueting suite to the Clubhouse, ensuring that one of the UK 's best courses is now complemented by the best in off-course facilities.
