| 31/8/2010 | Night PorterBowood is looking for a Night Porter to join the team at the Bowood Hotel. Candidates must be versatile, well presented and able to deliver the highest levels of hospitality and service during the overnight shift. The Night Porter is responsible for the security and well-being of the hotel guests during their overnight stay. The main duties being:
· Assist with and cover over night c leaning duties of the Hotel & Golf Club
· Complete late guest arrivals and departures
· Close down any late bars
· Complete security walk rounds
· Complete night audit
· Set up conference rooms where applicable
· Attend to guest requirements
· Provide room service
· Switchboard operation
Must be able to work alone and within a team, have previous experience in a similar position within a hotel environment (preferred), have high standards of cleanliness, attention to detail and good computer skills
Required - Good command of spoken English. Full UK driver’s license. Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Bowood is looking for 2 or 3 Housekeepers to join the Housekeeping team at the luxury Bowood Hotel to service bedrooms, corridors and public areas. The hotel has 4-star AA rating and has 2 Rosettes, so it is imperative that standards of service and cleanliness remain high. This role reports directly to the Head Housekeeper or in her absence, the Deputy Housekeeper.
Previous experience in a similar position within a hotel environment very much preferred but not essential.
You will need to be an enthusiastic team player, with good customer service skills, the ability to work under pressure, have acute attention to detail, flexibility, high standards of cleanliness, good presentation and must take pride in your work.
Hours - variable depending on business demands. All must be able to work a rota including some weekends and evenings. Shifts to be arranged.
